Stan has been hacking since the days of the CPM and listening to Nowhere Fast Music since their beginnings.
Nowhere Fast (Louisville/Chicago) has been touring the country bringing their brand of powerful, rock, melodic soul, and punk to the masses. A basement show or festival has never really mattered as long as they get to perform.
After making numerous compilation appearances and putting out their "Little Heart Records" debut, "The Hollow Angel 7-inch", the band released "The Highlands Sessions Ep" in February 2010. This EP was mixed and mastered by Stephen Egerton of Descendents fame. The band has been touring to support the EP since October 2009 and writing in between appearances. Nowhere Fast will self-release a new as of yet to be titled six song EP in the Spring of 2011. They continue to demo and write for their new full length album. Plans are to hit the studio and start tracking sometime this summer between tours.
The band is keeping busy. A video has been completed for "The Hollow Angel" single "Black Angel". The video is Nowhere Fast's first official foray into music videos. Directed by Jesse Spiro of Tastyface the film was produced and edited by Robert Walz, who works on the television series Wolverine and The X-men. Featuring Robinson opposite of Mel Jennette from Suicide Girls, the video can be seen at various on-line forums and several mainstream college television markets.
When asked to describe the up-coming record, Robinson concluded "[This record] will show everyone what Nowhere Fast is really about! Love, friends, family and moving on from self destruction."
Nowhere Fast has been lucky enough to share the stage with amazing bands such as Strung Out, The Ataris, Cruiser Weight, Street Dogs, Asher, Teenage Bottlerocket, Cobra Skulls, A Loss For Words, Hit The Switch, Blacklist Royals, Hold Tight, Relics, and many other great bands.
